What our owners say

" We have a two year old Cairn Terrier female that we purchased through Amy. We just love our little girl. Our local vet said she is perfect and her bite is one of the most perfect that he has seen. Minky has a wonderful temperament, loves all people and other dogs, very social. We also have a 50kg Rotty named Hamma. Minky and Hamma are inseparable they love each other dearly. Amy gave us lost of advice when we purchased Minky on how to transition her into our home with Hamma. Needless to say we have the perfect family. Amy also is very knowledgeable on the Cairn breed. I still call her and email her for any questions I may have. She always has time for her passed puppies. That is why as a professional dog groomer I would highly recommend her to anyone. Thank you Amy for going above and beyond as a breeder. Tiny Paws Pet Minding and Grooming. "  -  Jeni and Paul

After losing our beloved Boxer we decided that we wanted a smallish dog to fit in with our active PugX Tank. After some research we discovered we liked the idea of a Cairn and we were lucky to come across Amy and her Cairns.

Amy had little Sophie available and Initial phone call to Amy was fantastic as she wanted to know about our history with dogs without being intrusive, so we knew then that we had chosen the right breeder.
At the same time Amy was happy to answer and assist with any questions we had.
Hubby went over to meet Amy and her little Sophie, well the rest is history.
He was smitten and sent a picture right away to say yes , she's the one.

We picked her up the following week and jeez this little girl is awesome, we wanted a sparky dog and that is what we got with our newly named girl Maggie.

She is cheeky, fun to be around and very healthy.
Maggie has brought much joy to our home and we are so thankful to Amy.
Our first Cairn, will defiantly not be the last, so Amy I hope you continue giving us these gorgeous fur babies.

Cheers

"We are new to Cairn Terriers and from the initial email enquiry through to taking our new puppy, Molly, home recently; we have found Amy to be an enthusiastic source of information and inspiration as regards Cairn Terriers.  Amy is passionate about Cairns and this is obvious from any discussion with her.  She is fantastic at communication and sends regular emails with information before you order a puppy and later with photos and status reports of the new arrivals.  Amy is also extremely patient, generous with her time and knowledge and offers on-going support and advice.  Molly is very healthy which is testament to a skilled breeder.  We would recommend Amy and Aimfor Cairn Terriers to anyone who is contemplating adding a Cairn Terrier to their family. We love our Molly and look forward to a lifetime of fun with her."  - Deb

"What can I say! Amy (of Aimfor) is a force of nature. I have known Amy for two years when we first met her at her house to discuss our new puppy. Possibly not even conceived yet! Amy is a warm and inclusive person – only too willing to share all she knows about Cairn terriers, which believe me, is a vast amount of information. A few months after our first meeting, we took our baby Cairn (Dougal) home armed with masses of tips about Cairns and their quirkiness and we haven’t looked back. The thing about Amy is she doesn’t just leave you with a new puppy. She supports the new owners with her ongoing care and help. This includes inviting all the puppy owners around to her house for a Cairn party every few months. The ‘Cairn Carryons’ have legendary status now and are not to be missed where furry terriers of all ages gallop around Amy’s property until they are exhausted while the puppy owners feast on a BBQ put on by Amy and her wonderful husband Andrew. Her human children take part too! Puppy owners also get support through Facebook where we hear news of Cairns, share photos and tips and take part in the wider Cairn community. Amy even invites Cairns to stay when their owners are away and she grooms them too. Amy’s purpose in breeding Cairn terriers is not to make money but to improve the characteristics of the breed. She has much success in the show ring and breeds beautiful puppies with wonderful temperaments. Our life has been enriched by getting to know Amy, her family and her Cairns."  - Liz Bednall (Liz now has added another cairn as of 2020, Master Hamish!

"Our Scrabble is over a year old now and we love him so much. He’s got such a beautiful temperament and he’s such a little character. He’s well-adjusted, great with people and amazing with other dogs. We knew we wanted a Cairn in our home, as my family in Canada has a Cairn. We’re in Western Australia and Cairns are a bit of a rarity over here. I emailed Amy and I knew we needed to go with Aimfor. She was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and patient with all my questions. She made sure our little guy arrived safely and continued to offer help and support when Scrabble was a pup. In fact, I still email Amy with any questions or concerns I have and she always gets back to me. She truly cares about her Cairns and about supporting new puppy owners and of course making sure the pups have the best life possible. I love seeing Aimfor’s Facebook updates and seeing all the happy dogs. I would recommend Aimfor to anyone. Our Scrabble has changed our life and we can’t imagine things without him." - Angie Boyce (2015)
